‘’Empowering Clients to exceed their goals.’’

The “In-Depth Financial Analysis Program” is a 24-month program designed to aid clients in financial literacy, building profitable business habits, making critical decisions, and identifying growth areas. Upon their completion, clients will have a tremendous edge over industry competitors.

Step 1: Each month clients submit their year-to-date financial statements. These documents include the Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, and Cash Flow Statement. The IFAP generates its analysis from the information on these statements. Clients can mail, email or submitted documents through SBSC’s secure online portal.

Step 2: Client’s meetings are standardized to a specific day and time of the month (i.e., the first Monday of each month at 7:00am.) Each meeting lasts for 45min and consists of an in-depth review of the IFAP Analysis, current financial statements, broad industry evaluation, and client’s historical performance. Discussion will also center around the client’s goals, areas of improvement, and strategies for growth.

Step 3: In the beginning, each client’s financial literacy is evaluated, and the program’s syllabus is tailored to meet their needs. As the program progresses clients are introduced to new concepts and components of financial education. The program strives to produce financially savvy and confident business owners.

Why does the program require clients to use their company’s financial statements?

Clients are significantly more focused on learning when they are interested in the topic of discussion. Using the client’s organization as the subject of research helps to retain interest in an otherwise monotonous scholastic endeavor. SBSC employs a rigorous set of security protocols to maintain client privacy and data protection. Please see our Security Protocol brochure for more details.

Where are the meetings held, and how much does this program cost?

In order to minimize the impact on a client’s day, all meetings are held virtually. From the list of open timeslots, client select the day and time that works best for their schedule. The annual fee is $4,200.00 and payment is required up front.

What if the program does not help my company?

This program is intended to be an exercise in self-discipline, financial education, goal setting and business development. There are key performance indicators that measure the growth and goal achievement throughout the course. The client’s success and development are built into the program and are constantly evaluated throughout the duration of the program.

Financial Education: Unlike a standard college finance course, the IFAP is brought to the client’s office as the program centers around their organization. Ultimately their deepened financial education is completed by studying their own company.

Charting a Course: The IFAP teaches clients how to use their financial skills to chart their course through the future. Goals, ambitions, and deadlines will be determined through careful analysis of the numbers rather than emotions.

Identifying Opportunities: Business is about capitalizing on opportunities. The IFAP teaches clients to identify growth opportunities, spot red flags, and avoid serious pitfalls.

The American small business owner is typically an expert in their trade who decided to go into business for themselves. This is a foundational piece of the American Dream. However, it leaves new business owners struggling to manage without the skills and education it takes to run a successful organization.

While the world is full of resources, investors, lenders, and government agencies are not in the business of educating budding entrepreneurs. It is up to the business owner to educate themselves. Unfortunately, the whirlwind of workday chaos consumes everyone, and learning how to successfully manage their company is delayed in perpetuity. Let’s break this cycle together.
